BEDA #4

You know, it's really helpful that the day of the month corresponds with the BEDA day number.  Otherwise, I'd get lost and confused. :P  Sarcastically, do you know what else is helpful?  Starting these blogs with no plans or ideas >_<
Jane Austen Ruined My Life. is the title of the book I am currently reading.  My reading of this book wasn't at all premeditated, but a random snag because I wanted to buy a book that day.  It would be nice if I could say "lolz it's so fitting that I'm reading it because we read P&P in school and it ruined MY life! :D" but alas, I didn't hate it.  Granted, I didn't read it all %100, but what I did read (most of t) was really good.  I like her writing style.  But that brings me to the subject of why Jane Austen Ruined My Life is not a book I'm currently enjoying very much.  The writing style of it's author, Beth Patillo, is very simplistic.  (Not to mention the fact that it has too white, too thick, strangely glossy pages, and large type. But we're not talking about aesthetics here.)  At this point in the book, it's almost worse than Twilight.  I hope it gets better, really, because it's an interesting story about Jane Austen's lost letters.  The story at the moment reminds me of Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes in that it's involving an American girl (young woman) who travels to England and is staying with a guy, and who goes somewhere looking for letters.  But then, I didn't like 13LBE very much...  Hm, we'll see!
